Information Regarding the PK System

So, the hot topic on the forums has been the PK system for quite sometime. We'd like to provide you some information regarding the upcoming changes and what we are striving for in a New PK system.

Possible Changes:
Tendency, not carry any negative consequences. (Cant party/cant talk to NPCs)
Also discussed changing the formulas, so Tendency gain and tendency loss is more even.
Lvl 1-19 cannot initiate PK
EXP gain and loss  set to 0 to allow for less likely hood of exploitation.
PK protection time will be set to a certain time after death, to allow players more time to get away from opponent.
PK will be disabled in Turba and Parness, most cities, Wingriders and respawn points.
NPCs will be available in town to change PK mode on and PK mode off.
Players with PK mode on can be attacked by characters of any level able to initiate PK.
Players with PK mode off can turn PK mode on by attacking another player or by visiting NPC in town.
Players can only initiate PK with character that are their level or higher.

Please remember these are only proposed changes that have been discussed and are subject to change upon reimplementation.

Reimplementation date is still up in the air, but we are pushing the develops to have something before the year end. We'll post more news, when we have it.

**Update** The PK on or off function seems to have some misinterpretations, when PK mode is on you are open to be attacked by anyone who is able to participate in PK. When PK mode is off, you can only be attacked by someone who is your level or higher. Its the choice of the player whether he chooses to participate in this open war or not.
